It is with deep sadness we say farewell to Carol Schierl, a great supporter of the Catholic Foundation and wife to Paul Schierl, an emeritus member of the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors. Carol and Paul spent a lifetime sharing Jesus’ love with others and helping further the mission of the Church here in northeastern Wisconsin.
Carol shared the love of Jesus with all she encountered through her devotion to her faith, family, friends, and community. She was a foster parent, an avid traveler and reader, a fast driver, and she found great fulfillment in her work with the Catholic Foundation and many other community organizations. She was compassionate, classy, indomitable, generous, and full of love.
So many hearts have experienced Jesus’ love thanks to Carol’s generosity and joyful spirit. She will be deeply missed.
