“Helping people find the courage to feel empowered, that is life-changing,” shared Celia Gardner, Manager of the Counseling program at Catholic Charities. “Without the Bishop’s Appeal, we wouldn’t have the funding to support our staff, to be here to provide care to people.” The counselors at Catholic Charities provide much-needed hope through their compassionate work with individuals and families.
Along with Mental Health Counseling, Catholic Charities also provides Financial Health Services for people to better manage their resources and improve their circumstances in life. Adoption services at Catholic Charities supports birth mothers throughout their pregnancy and works with adoptive families who are welcoming a child into their home.
